BREAKING: Abia Rep. Member Who Decamped To APC Has Been Appointed House C’tee Chariman On South East Development Commission

Just less than 24 hours the Member representing Ukwa East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Chris Nkwonta defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APC), has been appointed as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the South East Development Commission.

The appointment was announced by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. T.J. Abbas, shortly after confirming Nkwonta’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Nnaji Paul Sunday was also named as the Deputy Chairman of the committee.
