You Are A Disgrace To Womanhood – Niger Delta Women’s Group Tells Senator Natasha

Women from the Niger Delta region, identifying themselves as Concerned Women On The Niger Delta has warned the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial district of Kogi State, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to stop disgracing Womanhood by her alleged gutter attitude purportedly displayed during plenary on Thursday.

The women took to the streets of Yenagoa on Saturday, 1st March 2025 to protest Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s recent actions.

The women, dressed in black, carried placards with messages such as “You are a disgrace to womanhood,” “Natasha, Stop disgracing your husband,” “Natasha we are tired of your lies,” among others.

The protest was sparked by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s alleged disregard for the senate’s established seating arrangements and her public feud with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The women expressed disappointment and frustration with the senator’s behavior, labeling it as “inappropriate and unrepresentative of the virtues expected of Nigerian women.”

The protest is the latest development in the ongoing controversy surrounding Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s conduct.

The women’s group has called for the senator to apologize to the Senate President for her actions and to respect the established protocols of the senate.
